Exodus 14:14

"The Lord will fight for you; you have only to keep still." Exodus 14:14

This is a rather beautiful bible verse do you not agree? But what does it mean? It sounds like you never have to worry about the battle to me. These are my thoughts on what it means a bit deeper than that.

We are Super Prideful. What I mean by saying that is that we have a tendency to try and fight on our own, thinking we can take on anything, but the fact of the matter is, we can't! We are weak. But in God, we have a surplus amount of strength! And that is something that God is saying in this scripture verse. We need to step aside and let God fight for we cannot win on our own. This is very hard for the fact that that means we need to be humble and put our trust in God. That's it though! It's super easy. All you need to do is trust in God and give it all to Him. Stand still, don't be scared or worried, God will take care of you, you have only to be still.

Give God your Anxiety. The main thing that this bible verse really hits on is this: you do not need to feel like the whole world is against you. You don't need to feel like the walls are closing in on you. You see, God will fight for you, so you don't need to worry. What God is trying to tell you in this bible verse is so long as you stand still and let God take the lead, you will not be overtaken by the enemy. God wants us to come to Him, He wants us to rest in Him, to trust in Him, and to give the fight to Him. Give God your anxiety, your depression, your anger, give it all to Him and let God fight for you.

God loves You. Pretty much what this bible verse says is that God loves you. It says that He will protect you and that you don't need to worry or be scared or try to fight on your own. God will never forsake any of us and He will always be by our side. Exodus 14:14 is such a prime example of the care that God has for us. So if you ever feel like the world is collapsing around you as you know it, then take a moment and be still. Let God take care of the deadline for work or the homework that seems impossible. Give it to God and He will come into the fight and He will win for you. Every struggle, every temptation, frustration, and disappointment, give it to God, and He will win. God is victorious in all things, God is freaking overpowered, I mean heck, He's God! Give your struggle to God and all your worries, He will fight for you; all you need to do is keep still. God Bless peeps! Until next time, see ya!
