When you meet someone who you want to help to know the love of God make sure to find out what they love. Is it sports? Is it books? Is it theatre? Is it democrats or republicans? Is it gardens?…

That’s it, in my book. Those are the only reasons not to discern religious life. I’m writing this because I remember the plethora of “reasons” I invented to not discern. I remember my intense desire to run away from the question “Is God calling me?”

Ok, I’ll admit that nothing does quite motivate me like an inspiring and selfless figure, especially if said figure is from a book, tv show, or a movie. More often than not, superheroes usually take that spot as being an encouragement in my life.

Does your life fit into this world? Does it make sense? Do you know why you are here and where you are going? If not, it is probably because you have not heard and taken to heart the loving voice of the Father. It is He who fulfills you.

The immense gratitude in her eyes was so shocking to me. In my mind, it was a simple, courteous gesture. If she was lost and I had the capabilities to speak to her in a language more familiar to her, I ought to, right?

but at the end of the day, it’s the encouragement and positive messages that are brought to the viewers. Here, I have compiled a list of the top five superheroes that I believe to be the most inspirational, not only to my life, but many others as well.

In this time of the pandemic, it’s more important than ever for Catholics to know their bible. It will help us to face the isolation and discouragement that are so prevalent in these times.
