Have you ever wanted to pray but didn’t know how to go about it? Did you want to listen to God speaking to you but didn’t know how to hear His voice?

Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” You have an incredible call for your life!

If you are going to get out of depression, you need to let yourself feel the things you are actually feeling and let those feelings move you to do safe/productive actions. Workout, sing, play music, punch a punching bag, laugh, etc.

I have had numerous friends reach out to me and with pure hearts, asking me how I am processing everything that is going on. Out of all of the discussions and interviews I’ve had, the two questions that I have been asked the most are, “How is this different?” and “How do we move forward?”

Why is it that people say that? Why do they bring up the past and how bad or good their life used to be? Why can’t these people talk about how good life is right now?

Think about it for one moment... The birth of a little baby boy in a manager. Most would say it is nothing important, just a poor kid from poor parents. But this poor kid was the Savior of the universe.

When Elijah waited for the Lord, he stood at the entrance of the cave and heard, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” God calls us by name and begs us to stop and answer that question – What are we doing?

I’ll be honest; I like instant gratification. Experiencing “need” is not fun. I’d rather skip that uncomfortable question: “What will I do if such and such a need I have is not met?”

I couldn’t calm myself down. My mom couldn’t either. So, she called my brother (who was a firefighter at the time) and he hurried over with some of his firefighter friends. They couldn’t calm me down, and the next thing I knew, I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

As I swerved, I saw flashing lights on behind me. I hit the brakes... and my car stopped. I don’t remember unlocking the doors, but the cop was able to open the door. I had already been crying, and just sobbed even harder. I couldn’t believe he had stopped me. He looked me in my eyes and asked if I was okay. I just kept crying.

GOD SAVED MY LIFE by leading me to a few young guys at my new church…I soon realized that it was because they knew who they were and they knew where their worth came from. They knew they were sons, sons of the living God, their true Father.

The DivineMercy Chaplet is offered up for that person/persons that you need to have mercy on. Whether it’s a friend, a family member, an enemy, or even yourself, you must have mercy.

For me I didn’t want to confront this man. I was afraid, I didn’t think I would know what to say. God gave me the grace to have the courage and I was able to explain what the Catholic faith is really about.

Why do I muse to you of this story, this tragedy so tragic? For how can it not help but draw a tear? I muse, for it begs the question, did my locks, so magnificent as they were, bring glory to God?

If you look at the stars and do not see the beauty of God because of them, you are not on the right track with your faith.

In this time of the pandemic, it’s more important than ever for Catholics to know their bible. It will help us to face the isolation and discouragement that are so prevalent in these times.

I was to use my sword whenever the devil sent his minions against me. I wasn’t supposed to go and find the enemy, but I was to know, love, and serve God, by protecting my Faith that was given to me.
